What a listing is

Each listing records facts about a public product: its address, when it launched, what our automated checks saw, and when its status changed. Names, descriptions and categories come from the product's own website, or from its maker once they claim it. A listing is not a review or an endorsement.

Status is a measurement, not a verdict

Status comes from automated checks run from our servers, described on the About page. A check can fail for reasons on our side or the network's, and a site can be up for some visitors and down for others. We work to avoid false results (a product is never marked gone from a single failed check), but we do not guarantee that any status is correct or current. Don't rely on it alone for decisions that matter.

Makers

If you run a listed product you can claim it, by proving control of its domain, and then edit its name, description, icon and category. Edits go live at once. Keep them accurate and about the product: no misleading claims, no content you don't have the right to use, nothing unlawful. We may revert edits or remove a claim that breaks these rules. You can dispute a status; a person reviews every dispute.

Submissions

Anyone with an account can submit a product. A person reviews each one and we may decline any submission without giving a reason. Once listed, a product gets the same checks as every other.

Accounts

Keep your sign-in to yourself. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the site or other people. You can close yours at any time by emailing us; see Privacy.

The usual

The site is provided as is, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses from using it or relying on it. We may change these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed.
